2016 Canada International Film Festival selects Silent No More

We have some exciting news to announce - Silent No More has been officially selected for the 2016 Canada International Film Festival in downtown Vancouver, BC April 8-9, 2016 - www.canadafilmfestival.com

Canada International Film Festival has firmly established itself among the top film festivals in Canada, held at the Edgewater Casino in downtown Vancouver, BC. The festival brings the very best of world cinema to Canada from over 90 countries around the world and this year's Festival Program will showcase a wide variety of North American and International Feature Films to thought-provoking Shorts, Documentaries, Music Videos, Animations, Experimental Films, Student Films, a Screenplay Competition, and more.

14th Annual Female Eye Film Festival, “Always Honest, Not Always Pretty,” OFFICIAL SELECTION

“Silent No More - Louise Pentz: A Voice for Social Change ” has been selected for the 14th Annual Female Eye Film Festival, “Always Honest, Not Always Pretty,” Tuesday, June 16–Sunday, June 19, 2016, in Toronto, Canada.

The 14th ANNUAL FEMALE EYE FILM FESTIVAL received a record number of submissions this year! So many great films by women director's from around the globe. With the assistance of twelve program assistants previewing the swell of entries the Official line-up has finally been announced and

2016 Eureka Springs Human Rights Film Festival, Arkansas, USA August 5-6 OFFICIAL SELECTION

Premier screening of Silent No More will be on Tuesday, March 15 at 7:00 p.m. at ARTsPLACE in the Arts Tuesday series.

Mark your calendars! Silent No More will screen at ARTsPLACE in Annapolis Royal, NS on Tuesday 15th March, 2016. It will be shown as part of the Arts Tuesday series.

ARTsPLACE Artist-run Centre is run by an Exhibitions Committee of the ARCAC Board, comprised 100% of artists, to support and encourage serious artistic endeavours. The Annapolis Region Community Arts Council (ARCAC) is a registered not-for-profit charitable, community organization dedicated to encouraging and promoting the arts. Located in the beautiful Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia; a place that artists seem to be naturally drawn to.

Admission is by donation. ARTsPLACE is located at 396 St. George St in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, Canada.

'Silent No More - Louise Pentz: A Voice for Social Change" will screen at the 2016 Eureka Springs Human Rights Film & Arts Fest on August 6 in Arkansas, USA.

The festival will kick off Friday night, August 5th with a preview party.

Screenings will begin on Saturday, August 6th at the Auditorium at 10 a.m. and continue through 5 p.m. with the Award Show at 6 p.m.

The Eureka Springs Human Rights Film & Art Fest shines the spotlight on human rights issues and the struggles and progress made for equality.

"Silent No More" has been selected as a Finalist in the 2016 "Get Your Shorts On" Competition at the Shelburne Film Expo, Shelburne, NS. All the finalist films will be screened on Friday, September 9 at 7:30 at the Osprey Arts Centre, 107 Water Street in Shelburne, NS. Immediately following the Finalists screening, the winner of the 2016 "Shelbie" will be announced.

It is a strong advocate for social change, and encourages cultural diversity and understanding between nations.

Our film will screen during the festival March 10 – 11, 2017 at the state of the art Glenn Massay Theater in Palmer, Alaska, USA located on the University of Alaska's Mat-Su College campus.
